Up to you! There are two areas you can stay in - either Baru or Cartagena, both have different vibes and are great! Baru - is a beach vibe with pristine water & where the wedding will be. Cartagena - is a city with restaurants, bars, shops, and places to walk around. We will be staying in Baru at the Sofitel Baru. You can join us there or choose another option in Baru (we have a discount at another beautiful hotel) or in Cartagena (within the walled city or Getsemani). We provided several recommendations for both areas. Feel free to pick another hotel or AirBnB. Note - As Cartagena has a lot more options, it will be more afffordable. The wedding will be in Baru and there will be transportation to the wedding from Sofitel Baru, Hotel Las Islas, & Cartagena

Yes, The area is considered very safe. For Cartagena, stay within the walled city or Getsemani Remember to be smart and vigilant (same as Europe) - don't flash valuables, stay in the proper areas, and be aware of potential pickpocketers.
Colombia uses the same as America (plugs A & B)
