Tipping in Israel

Tipping in Israel is usually between 10%-15%. Tips must be left in cash, as there is no option to add a tip to your card after paying a bill. No need to tip cab drivers.

Travel Note

Bike Rental

Tel-O-Fun is Tel Aviv's bike sharing program and is a great way to see the city! Tel Aviv is small and totally bike-able, with a beautiful and scenic bike path all the way up the coastal promenade (from Jaffa to North Tel Aviv)!

Travel Note

Cabs

Demand that your cab driver use the meter as soon as you get in. Israeli cab drivers will try to take advantage of tourists who have no understanding of distance or cost. DO NOT BE SUCKER! Ask them to use the meter right away and you will pay a fair price. No need to tip.
