We met the old-fashioned way… at a bar in downtown Greenville. Alexander walked up to me and said, “You have the most beautiful teeth I have ever seen.” My first thought was, what the heck… is this guy a dentist? But it was bold enough to work. He asked for my number and texted me first—trying to play it cool. Not long after, we went on our first date at Limoncello, and from there things just clicked. A couple months later, Alexander took me to Larkin’s and asked me to be his girlfriend. It quickly became our spot, which made it an easy decision to have Larkin’s cater our wedding. About a year and a half later, we took a trip to Asheville in December. I thought we were just using extra Biltmore tickets his parents had, completely unaware of what was coming. While we were there, Alexander planned a beautiful and thoughtful proposal that took me completely by surprise.
