Once you enter the gates of the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia, follow the road all the way to the end and park in that parking lot. There will be signs directing you to walk down the hill to the Day Chapel. Here is a map: https://botgarden.uga.edu/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/maphandout2024.6.6web.pdf
We were inspired by the beauty of the venue, so this is a garden wedding! We recommend wearing light and airy attire with a nature-inspired color palette.
The attire is semi-formal, which can include suits or sport coats with dress pants for men, and gowns, cocktail dresses, or pantsuits for women. The ceremony and the dinner will be indoors, but the cocktail hour will be on a shaded terrace. We request that ladies do not wear white, cream, or champagne attire.
Parking is free and available at the Botanical Gardens. However, you cannot leave your car overnight!
The ceremony and dinner will be indoors in an air conditioned environment. However, the cocktail hour will be on a shaded terrace unless weather decides otherwise.
Yes, there is handicap parking in front of both the Day Chapel and the reception hall. We will have golf cart shuttles to transport people with mobility issues from the chapel to the reception hall.
