How do I find the Day Chapel at the Botanical Gardens?

Answer

Once you enter the gates of the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia, follow the road all the way to the end and park in that parking lot. What's the theme?

Answer

We were inspired by the beauty of the venue, so this is a garden wedding! We recommend wearing light and airy attire with a nature-inspired color palette.

What should I wear?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal, which can include suits or sport coats with dress pants for men, and gowns, cocktail dresses, or pantsuits for women. The ceremony and the dinner will be indoors, but the cocktail hour will be on a shaded terrace. We request that ladies do not wear white, cream, or champagne attire.

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Parking is free and available at the Botanical Gardens. However, you cannot leave your car overnight!

Will this be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and dinner will be indoors in an air conditioned environment. However, the cocktail hour will be on a shaded terrace unless weather decides otherwise.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes, there is handicap parking in front of both the Day Chapel and the reception hall. We will have golf cart shuttles to transport people with mobility issues from the chapel to the reception hall.

Can I smoke cigarettes or cigars?

Answer

No, this is a non-smoking venue. We apologize for any inconvenience!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to attend the ceremony and reception. Please indicate on your RSVP form if they will be joining you, and indicate any accommodations you will need.
