Noah and Nikki met one day in September at Christian Life Fellowship in Port Edwards. But, it wasn't love at first sight. During Nikki's internship year at Christian Life Fellowship, she became tight with Noah's mom, Teri. Nikki and Teri grew as friends doing many things together. As the months went by, Nikki attended the Gerdes family Easter at Grandma Ayres house and Mother's Day there as well. Towards the end of the internship, Nikki joined Noah's friend group. They hit it off and started dating that summer on August 1st, 2018. Little did they know it would lead to this next moment . . . . .

1 year 2 months 18 days later. Noah proposed at the most perfect location - right along the Wisconsin River. This spot they enjoyed on their first day of dating and prior to that, Nikki spent many moments here praying for her future husband. It was an easy yes. This moment was nothing short of perfect. But, of course there's a back story. We are both so thankful to Noah's brother, Codi, for capturing the whole 14 minute moment on video - and to Sarah (Noah's sister-in-law) for giving us a quick post-engagement photo shoot.
