How we met

Missed connections make happy accidents

Noah Dylan and Bea met briefly, in the 12th grade, through mutual acquaintances at the Spokane County Fair. Fast forward four years, they reconnected through social media and made fast friends with each other!

How we fell in love

Distance makes the heart grow fonder

After they exchanged numbers off of Instagram, Noah Dylan and Bea were texting all day and spending hours in the evenings speaking on the phone with one another. They both had never laughed more, or made themselves so vulnerable so quickly with someone else. Bea was working at Rosauers up in 9 mile, Noah was about to leave for yet another summer of camp, and they were both feeling antsy about exactly what this was going to mean for us. Through odd work hours, bad cell phone service, and solely text, they were definitely in love by..... day 3? Maybe sooner.

How we learned to coexist

From "It's late, I have to go" to "It's late, let's go to bed'

At the end of their 3rd month officially in a relationship, Bea moved in with Noah Dylan into a tiny 500 sq foot apartment with literally nothing in it and nothing to either of their names. It was definitely rough at first. Noah had loved the idea of living on my own; no roommates, just his kitty and him, living the bachelor life. Bea came in and taught him what a home should be. Pictures on the walls, color instead of just black and white, cleaning more often than when it looks dirty?! They had our share of struggles, but they truly believe that moving in together helped them learn more about each other, and work through their communication issues quickly, so that they communicate freakishly effectively nowadays.

How we got engaged

surprise snow, surprise ring

Noah had decided he wanted to marry Bea and spend the rest of his life with her shortly after they celebrated 6 months together. He had given her a promise ring when they went to Hawaii together in December of 2019, and knew that he didn't want to go anywhere without her again. Noah met for coffee with a friend in January of 2021, and asked if she would help him plan the proposal, since she is a photographer. He spent weeks finding the perfect ring, thinking of the perfect place, and before he knew it, it was already Valentine's Day. They woke up early, put on outfits they decided matched enough to look nice, and headed out to Tubbs hill, where they were met by a surprise snowfall. Noah has no idea why Bea didn't question the tripod he brought to "make a video' of the photoshoot, or how she didn't hear him fumble for the ring in his pocket when their friend had her turn around, but he is so glad that this was the one secret he's ever been able to keep from her. The look on her face when she turned around made all of the stress from planning this secret worth it. Hearing her say "yes!" without any hesitation put him on cloud nine. Noah Dylan and Bea are so excited to start this new journey together, with the people they love most at their sides.
