Patience, Trust, and Love. These three words have defined our story from the very beginning, and they are what we carry with us into our marriage. We first met while studying abroad in London in 2019. Though we had both independently decided to join the same internship program, which brought a small group of students from the University at Buffalo overseas, our first real meeting happened in Gatwick Airport. Noah remembers Theresa walking in wearing a big yellow scarf, surrounded by classmates. Theresa remembers Noah tipping the taxi driver for everyone and immediately thinking how kind he was. What began as a friendship, bonding over jokes about hot sauce, slowly grew into something more. (Fun fact: the group we traveled with had bets on how long it would take us to get together.) In March 2019, while sitting on a barrel outside a pub in Dublin on St. Patrick’s Day, Noah asked Theresa to be his girlfriend. After London, our journey continued across countries and time zones. We navigated long distance while Noah traveled to France and Africa, and later while he worked in New York City - where Theresa would eventually join him. Together, we supported one another through undergraduate graduation, the start and completion of our graduate degrees, our first real jobs, and everything else, growing side by side every step of the way. In March of 2024, Noah brought Theresa back to London proposing along the River Thames. Soon after, we started our life together in the Elmwood Village.
