Flight
CHS will be the easiest to fly in and out of and is ~15 minutes from the venue & ~25 minutes to downtown. Charleston is very Uber-able but if you plan to stay closer to the beach we’d recommend considering a rental.
House Or Rental
There are tons of great rental options around the Charleston area! Here are some considerations if you are planning to rent a vacation rental, VRBO, or AirBnB - most should be within 30 minutes of the venue - For a beach stay: - Sullivan’s Island: More residential, quieter beach, less rentals to choose from - Folly Beach: Laid back beach, good night-time bar scene, only one way in and out so traffic can get bad - Isle of Palms (IoP): Lots of restaurants & bars, lots of condos and apartments with beach views, more touristy For a city stay: - Charleston: For walkability look for spots in close reference to South of Broad, French Quarter, or The Battery although there are great spots slightly farther away but still walkable to bars and restaurants in Cannonborough/Elliotborough - Mt Pleasant: More inland and residential but only a 15 minute drive to IoP or downtown and close access to shopping
Hotel
Because there are so many great areas to choose from, we will not have a hotel block but you can look for hotels in the same neighborhoods mentioned above! Everything will be within ~30 drive of the venue. If you’d like to get super close to the venue you can look in North Charleston or Hannahan, these are more residential areas.
