Our Story

We met by chance on March 2nd, 2019 at the State Wrestling tournament in St. Paul. I was a statistician for the Barnesville wrestling team and Noah of course wrestled for OTC. I was a senior in high school at the time and Noah was a junior. A few of the stats girls & I decided to sneak off into the OTC & Minnewaska boys’ rooms as we just so happened to all be staying at the same hotel and a few of the Barnesville guys knew some of the guys from there. The first room us girls walked into, happened to be Logan’s (Noah’s brother) room. Shortly after, Noah walked into the room and sat and talked with us girls. That night quickly flew by and the next thing we knew it was time to head back home. The following Monday at school, I had asked one of the wrestlers if they had Noah’s Snapchat or number as I couldn’t find him on any social media (lol). The wrestler gave me his Snapchat and we quickly became friends and talked everyday over Snapchat. Soon, it turned to August & I was getting ready to start college in Moorhead. Noah & I still kept in touch and one night in September 2019, he asked me if I wanted to go to one of his football games as Underwood was playing in Pelican Rapids. I was working in Moorhead at the time & simply responded with I don’t know as I wasn’t quite sure I would make it in time. Well long story short, I ended up going to the game and Noah ran up to me afterwards and we talked, he met my mom & we got our first picture together. Fast forward to October 2019, we decided to go on our “first date” we went to a haunted corn maze as I love all things spooky. Shortly after, I told Noah that I basically wasn’t interested in him anymore. We still talked everyday and he insisted that I be his prom date for his senior prom. Come March of 2020, we started to hangout again and Noah invited me along to go skiing with him, his cousin Dacia & the youth group. I said yes, not knowing what to expect. Let’s just say, he finally won me over. We then hung out about every weekend and spent as much time together as we could until he asked me to be his girlfriend in May of 2020. Flash forward a few years, Noah decided one cold day in December of 2024, that we needed to go ice fishing together as I had told him that I have been wanting to go fishing with him but we’ve both been so busy with other things. Brent also decided to come join us fishing and little did I know that I was being set up for the best surprise. Noah asked me to marry him while out on the ice, ice fishing. It was the easiest yes & I couldn’t be more excited to be gaining such a great new family. Noah & I have been able to grow together and learn from each other over the last five years and I can’t wait to spend forever with Noah by my side.
