We’re getting married!

The night we met was like a cliche romance movie. The definition of love at first sight. Noah went out with his friends for the marine corps birthday. I went out for an evening coffee with friends. I was plotting a break up with my long term boyfriend that night but ended up at Last Call instead. After Last Call opened, my friend and I were observing the dance floor from the sidelines. Then seemingly out of nowhere, this large man dancing like a dad comes into view. Think of someone trying to relive their glory days on the dance floor but inevitably ending up looking like they're performing a comedic routine instead. I turned to my friend and yelled, “That guy is so cute!” while pointing at him. I turn back, and he’s standing in the center of the dance floor like the man standing emoji while staring at me. The world turned to slow motion and gray, and he was the only person in the room in color. I found out later that he had the same experience as me when he spotted me. He gyrated over and told me he was looking for life insurance when I told him I’m an insurance agent. Later I found out he already had a life insurance deal going with his buddy who was an insurance agent. I don’t know what his plan would’ve been if he did win me over that night. I didn’t ask him personal questions because I still hadn’t broken up with my boyfriend. When I told him I had a boyfriend, he turned into Houdini. I broke up with the boyfriend the next day. I felt deep down in my heart that I needed to find Noah. I couldn’t get him off my mind. I yearned for this man that I knew nothing about. All I knew was his first name. I found every Noah to ever exist on social media. Miraculously, I found him 2 weeks later even though he has a basic white man name. In the end, don’t let your boyfriend stop you from finding your husband.
