We were freshman on our colleges Track & Field Team! We were formally introduced to each other at a St. John Fisher track meet by another teammate (thanks Mitch L.) who was trying to get us to be each other’s date to formal that night… Plot twist: this was also the day of our first kiss.

We went for a snowy hike on our favorite running trail. We built snowmen along the way to an opening by the lake. We made it to a little dock and had a snowball throwing contest to see who could throw farther out onto the ice (we are very competitive). Noah said “I see a fish” and so I looked over into the water, I honestly thought he was going to push me in! After no luck of seeing a fish I turn around, and there he was. On one knee, in a foot of snow.
