Our neighborhood spot for fancy date night cocktails and a simple but delicious breakfast. A little hip, but very excellent.
The BEST pastries, great coffee, tea, and light fare. Great for light breakfast or lunch. Some gluten-free options but loootttsss of amazing-looking gluten. Fun people watching in Old Town Square. If it's hot, there's a fun splash pad for kids or hydrophilic adults in the middle of Old Town Square.
If you're looking to nap after breakfast, the Silver Grill can set you up. Enormous portions, old-timey vibes. Can be crowded, so not the place for a big group.
Big and busy and full of local produce, snacks, drinks, flowers, and crafts. Open Saturday mornings from 9am-1pm. Look for the kombucha lady, the peach people (in purple), and Me Oh My Pie.
A cute park in it's own right with an epic playground, but we love it for it's access to the Poudre River Trail. Hop on your bike or feet and head west!
A beautiful trail that starts out super flat and heads up into the foothills. Great views of the reservoir from the top. Awesome for a trail run.
Lily's favorite trail outside of town. A little bit of a drive to a beautiful walk up through a drainage that dips in and out of tree cover and goes past a few foundations left over from early homesteaders. Pack a lunch and water, and wear a hat and sunscreen!
Huge garden beds full of unique perennials of all shapes and sizes. A great place to oggle flowers, have a picnic or stroll from here down to the CSU Trial Annual Gardens.
A great place to order a sandwich to go for your hike, walk, or afternoon in the park. For more veggie options, check out Yampa Sandwich Company, also very delicious and great gluten-free bread.
Delicious Thai food with lots of veggie and gluten-free options. It's our fave. We literally eat here once a week. We actually ate here last night.
Rent bikes from these folks! They've got a variety of mountain, road, and hybrid bikes, plus a couple of cruisers. Give them a call ASAP to reserve yours!
