What's the dress code?

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, plenty of parking! The venue has a strict parking policy. All vehicles must be removed by 8:00 AM the following morning. We strongly encourage guests to take the shuttle or arrange for a designated driver if they plan to drive. Please Note Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are limited in the Hood River area and may be difficult to find.

What's the weather usually like?

Average high of 72 °F, low of 47 °F. June weather can be unpredictable in White Salmon, so please check the forecast and be prepared in case of cold weather or rain.

Is the ceremony/reception indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors. In case of rain, there is an outdoor covered pavilion. Reception will take place inside of the barn.

Please try to arrive at the venue (Tin Roof Barn: 15 Birddog Road, White Salmon, WA) at 3:30-3:45 PM PDT.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please go to the Travel tab on the website. The following Hood River hotels are closest to Best Western Hood River Inn in order from closest to farthest away: Hood River Hotel, Holiday Inn, Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa. All White Salmon hotels and stays will be closer to the venue, but no shuttle service.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

A shuttle service will be available to transport guests from Hood River to the venue and back after the wedding. Shuttle Departure Pickup Location: Parking lot across from Full Sail Brewery in Hood River Departure Time: 3:00 PM sharp Please arrive by 2:50 PM to allow time for boarding. The parking lot should be available for guest parking (paid parking applies before 6:00 PM; parking is free after 6:00 PM). Return Shuttles Drop off Location: Parking lot across from Full Sail Brewery in Hood River Departure Time 1: 9:00 PM Departure Time 2: 10:00 PM The drop-off location in Hood River is approximately a 7-minute walk from the afterparty at Whiskey Tango. Please Note Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are limited in the Hood River area and may be difficult to find.
