How many people can say they met their future spouse in a dishwasher? During our first summer on staff at Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp, Lacy spent a lot of time on the kitchen crew. One fateful night after a staff volleyball game, Noah wandered into the kitchen to discover a pair of legs sticking out of the industrial dishwasher, which Lacy was cleaning. Needless to say, he stuck his head in the other side and started up a conversation. And here we are.

Noah loves surprises-- Lacy, not so much. So it's a good thing she knew that he was going to get down on one knee long before they ever got down to the stables on September 7, or (let's be honest) she would have been a blubbering mess. With a lot of scheming and help from family and friends, Noah set up a scene complete with lights, flowers, and a cameraman to capture the moment.
