Answer

The Bride and Groom request that everyone live in the moment during the ceremony. Their wish is for their friends and family to experience the event in real time, and not through a screen. They will be having an "unplugged" ceremony meaning no phones. You, of course, can keep your device on your person and take as many pictures you want... before the ceremony begins. We just ask that once the event gets started you put it on silent and leave the videos and pictures to the professionals the Bride and Groom have hired! Don't worry there will be plenty of opportunities to take pictures at the reception!

What's the dress code?

The Bride and Groom are requesting semi-formal attire. There are no color schemes to follow. However, it will be a beautiful Ohio late-summer day by the lake, so being colorful is encouraged for the outdoor ceremony! We encourage checking the weather forecast closer to the date, but we should be looking at around mid-70's during the afternoon and mid-60's later in the evening. P.S. Please no white (but you already knew that;)

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Of course! They are just as important to have at the wedding as the parents. Your invite will say who all is invited on it, so if it says the whole family, then its the WHOLE family! When you go to rsvp they will be included, so be sure to check off the whole family for who will and won't be attending Also we know family's are always growing, so if for some reason you may have an addition to your family before the wedding rolls around, and would like for them to attend then please message the Bride as soon as possible.
