Where is Fairhope, AL?

Answer

Fairhope is a charming little bay town in South Alabama. During medical school, we traveled to Fairhope for date nights to explore the town's offerings, including fun local parades and delicious restaurants. We would love to share this part of our story with you and hope you enjoy your visit!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are requesting black tie attire and formal wear. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear tuxedos and suits, and ladies are encouraged to wear bright, summery evening gowns and cocktail dresses. The ceremony will be indoors at St. Francis Church, and the reception will be held outdoors at the Grand Hotel. Please keep in mind that it will be summertime in Alabama, meaning it will be toasty, but we will also be by the bay. We're excited to see you dressed to the nines!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the Holiday Inn Express Fairhope-Point Clear. The direct link to book with our group rate is located under the travel section. The reception will be held at the Grand Hotel Golf Resort and Spa, Autograph Collection, which also has accommodations if anyone is interested. The Hampton Inn Fairhope-Mobile Bay is another option in downtown Fairhope, one of our favorite places to hang out!

When should I arrive for the wedding weekend?

Our ceremony starts at 5:00 PM on August 30, 2025. We would love for you to join us at our welcome party on August 29, 2025 at 8:30 PM. Details can be found under the Schedule and RSVP section.
