This is a key stop if you are coming to Charleston. Walk the streets in the surrounding area to see some of the oldest and most historic homes in the Holy City. You can also walk along the water and see beautiful views of the Charleston Harbor.
No specific street address for this, just a general location to guide your walking! Be sure to walk down places like Church St., Tradd St., Legare St., Meeting St., King St., and South Battery. Some of Charleston's oldest and most beautiful churches are in this area. Be on the lookout for St. Michael's Church, The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, and St. Phillip's Church. I included a link to a website with great advice on how to wander around with some purpose!
An absolute Charleston classic. Go see the colorful homes on East Bay St. as you walk to the City Market! Take some fun pictures and send them our way!
This is an awesome place to grab a bite to eat while you are wandering around Downtown. It is on the water and has some of the best seafood around (and She Crab Soup)!
For all my fellow history lovers, The Charleston Museum is the place to go. A ticket provides you access to the museum and several historic homes in the area that are open to tour.
This is a great place to catch a sunset and a bite to eat. Go enjoy the sweet tea at Post House Inn, Page's Okra Grill, or one of the restaurants on the water at Shem Creek.
This is an amazing way to see Charleston and cover a lot of ground all at once. The tours are a nice way to relax and see the beautiful areas of the city with a certified tour guide! Booking ahead of time is a good idea this time of year!
