Grace and Noah met through Noah's old roommate Caleb when he went to school at Messiah. They started talking and from the first time they hung out they were inseperable
Noah took Grace on their very first date to Buffalo Wild Wings—where Grace famously ordered 20 wings! After dinner, they went for a walk around campus and Noah asked Grace if she would be his girlfriend. Of course, she said yes, and the rest is history.
Noah and Grace thought their time apart would last only the summer, but it turned into seven long months without seeing each other. Noah went back to Montana, while Grace returned to Virginia and later visited her grandparents’ lake house in Indiana. During this time, Noah decided not to return to Messiah, leaving the question of when they would reunite up in the air. From May through November, their relationship thrived through countless texts and FaceTime calls. Then, in November, Noah secretly teamed up with Grace’s family to surprise her over Thanksgiving—and the reunion was nothing short of perfect.
After finishing her sophomore year of college, Grace took her first trip to Montana to visit Noah. She finally got to see his home, meet his friends and family, and experience a bit of his life there. During the trip, she explored Yellowstone National Park and even attended Noah’s roommate’s wedding—a trip full of new experiences and memories together.
After a year of long-distance, Noah decided to move from Montana to Pennsylvania. He drove 2,095 miles over two days to be with Grace, who hadn’t seen him since that summer. The day was full of anticipation and excitement, and finally seeing each other again made it all worth it.
Noah and Grace spent much of 2025 growing closer through life’s many changes. It was a year of transition for Noah, as he worked three different jobs and moved between two apartments. Through it all, their relationship continued to strengthen. Now living closer than ever, they fill their days with countless dates—whether it’s just the two of them or double and triple dates with friends. One of their favorite memories from the year was seeing Hardy in concert, which was Grace’s first concert with Noah. They also continued meaningful traditions, including Noah’s trip to Indiana for the Fourth of July, just like in years past. Each experience brought them closer together and added to the story they are so excited to keep writing.
Noah and Grace planned a trip to Montana with Grace’s family, and while Grace knew a proposal was coming on that trip, she had no idea when. On Friday, May 22, Noah planned the sweetest day for just the two of them — starting with coffee and a scenic drive through the beautiful Montana mountains, followed by lunch at Ted’s Montana Grill and a stop at Boot Barn where Noah surprised Grace with a new pair of boots for her birthday. They then hiked around Hyalite Reservoir and then hiked to Palisade Falls. At the top, with the waterfall behind them Noah got down on one knee and asked Grace to spend forever with him. Of course, she said yes — making it the easiest and happiest “yes” of her life.
