We met while we were both in grad school at Liberty University. I (Faith) was working with the lacrosse team, while Noah was working with the football team. Working in two different seasons, our paths would have probably never crossed if it wasn't for a mutual friend who organized an awkward group dinner. Literally, the only purpose for that dinner was for Noah and I to meet, and everyone there knew that (talk about some pressure!). Good thing it worked out! :)
It has became a running joke that I always find a way to spoil any plan that Noah makes, and this was no exception. Unbeknownst to me, Noah had planned, for about a month, to propose this particular weekend in February, so I can imagine he was not too happy when I told him I "volunteered" to work that weekend. Luckily, we live in Virginia, and Virginians take inclement weather very seriously. The event, I was supposed to work, ended up being postponed due to ice. So naturally, what do I suggest we do: go on a hike! Little did I know, this was part of his plan. He proposed at the top of McAfee's knob! It was the sweetest moment, just me and him at the top.
We truly could not be more excited to start this next adventure together, and do so surrounded by our family and friends. It is our hope that you will join us, as we celebrate and proclaim the love of Christ. What better way to celebrate than coffee, brunch, and donuts!
