We met when Noah was 14 and Emily was 16 as first session campers at Nature Camp. We were friends but there wasn't much of a romantic inkling, even though Emily did go to Noah's house that summer for Joan's spaghetti and a boat ride. We didn't meet again until 2017, when Noah was working as a counselor at Nature Camp and Emily visited her cousin Will for a "day off" to Montebello and Noah happened to have the same day off. We stayed in contact through the fall when Noah went back to Southampton for school and saw each other on school breaks. Susan (Emily's mom) was an expert wing woman when she persuaded Noah to drive Emily back to Louisville after Christmas because Emily's flight was cancelled due to snow in Atlanta. An 8 hour drive through West Virginia will decide if two people truly want to be together, and here we are today! After two years of long distance and trips to England, Stockholm, New York City, and Spain to see each other we finally landed in same city. It has been a joy living in Baltimore, adding multiple animals to our menagerie and weathering a pandemic in a small apartment, and we're so happy to continue our lives together. We are so thankful for all of the support and love our families have given us over these past 5 years and know this wedding would not be possible without them.
