The Williams Wedding

This painting is by David Wilkie in 1818, and it illustrates what a Scottish Penny wedding may have looked like 100 years senior.
It is a celebration of loved ones, a celebration of the bringing together of families and the best communal parts of weddings as we know them.
In line with this celebration, we urge guests to connect with those they have never met before, to come together as the joint family that we are all part of from this day forth. There will be games to facilitate some joint activities, but we can't do this without you!
