Dress Code: Elegant Summer Attire Our wedding will be elegant, joyful, and relaxed, and Rome in September can still be quite warm. We want our guests to feel polished and comfortable while still honoring the setting and occasion. For Men We recommend breathable, lightweight summer attire with a polished feel. Linen or lightweight cotton button-down shirts, short-sleeve button-down shirts, linen pants, chinos, or light dress trousers are all great options. Lighter colors such as beige, tan, cream, light gray, navy, or olive work especially well for the season. Jackets, blazers, and traditional formal outfits are encouraged, but not required. Ties are optional. Loafers, dress shoes, suede shoes, or clean leather sneakers are appropriate. Please avoid shorts, athletic wear, flip-flops, graphic T-shirts, or anything too casual. For Women We recommend light, elegant summer attire such as dresses below the knee, midi dresses, long flowy dresses, dressy skirts, wide-leg trousers, or elevated two-piece outfits. Our ceremony will take place during a Catholic Mass, so we kindly ask guests to be mindful of the church setting when choosing their attire. Dresses and skirts should fall below the knee, and we recommend avoiding anything too low-cut, too revealing, or overly casual. Sandals, wedges, block heels, flats, or comfortable dress shoes are all welcome. Rome has cobblestone streets, so we recommend shoes you can comfortably walk and dance in. Please avoid white, beachwear, flip-flops, or anything too casual. Overall Vibe Think: a summer wedding in Rome -- elegant, timeless, polished, and comfortable without being overly formal.
We will provide round-trip transportation between the church and the reception. After the wedding, buses will make multiple stops throughout Rome to help get guests as close as possible to their hotel or Airbnb. We will assign busses for you and assist with any questions you might have.
