Because we are taking a train to the ceremony, please be PROMPT to the event. Boarding begins at 3:15pm ET and ends at 3:30pm ET. The train will leave without you!
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dress, fun jumpsuit, or snazzy suit.
To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.
Our plan is for the ceremony to be outdoors by the river--if the weather permits. In case of rain/snow/extreme wind/hailing frogs, the ceremony will take place indoors at the Essex Station. The reception will be indoors at Essex Station.
Guests will reboard the train back to Essex for a "fun-filled event." Or so I'm told. There'll be food and music--so that's nice.
Parking is available at Essex Steam Train for free.
Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony as we'll have two lovely photographers capturing the whole event and it would be a shame if your face was an iPhone, iPad, or Macbook (that's how the teens take photos these days right?). Feel free to take photos on the train as well as during the reception. Don't forget to use our wedding hashtag #tickettobride.

We have a strict guest list. Our wedding is RSVP only.
Yes, the venue is offering a "station-style" selection made up of various food categories including vegetarian options. Please notify us if you have allergies/dietary restrictions. Alcohol will also be available.
We do not. The wedding party will be staying at the Copper Beech Inn. We've provided nearby hotel options in the "Travel" tab on this website.
