As we tell everyone, we met in prison!! We were both working as Juvenile Program Workers at Long Creek Youth Development Center - a/k/a we were both Correctional Officers in Juvie. We rarely worked shifts together, but snuck kisses in the control room during shift change. Noah couldn't stay out of prison and graduated to the adult world of the Maine Correctional Center. Brenda decided to leave prison and went to work with Noah's mom, Leslie, at a law firm in Augusta. Noah was never nervous about Brenda and Leslie working together, because he knew how similar they were in their calm and caring natures (he never knew just how much they talked about him while at work). They lived in a small apartment in Lewiston for a few years while trying to pay down their student loan debt (I'm sure you never knew they had student loan debt! They never talked about it!). Then Brenda took a new job as an insurance sales representative and this allowed them to purchase a home! The day after closing, Brenda flew to Kentucky for work training, and Noah was left alone to deal with cold showers and unpacking. He still couldn't stay out of prison. Now, together with our babies, Charlie, Millie, and Chillie, and amidst an unprecedented global pandemic, we are finally gettin' hitched! We have decided to keep our wedding as small as possible, and are trying to keep our most at-risk family members safe. While we would love to have everyone celebrate with us, we decided that this small get-together is the best decision. We are hoping at some point we can have an after-party at our house - so stay tuned! We cannot wait to celebrate with you all, and our hearts are bursting with all of the love and support you have all showed. We love you!
