We're getting married!

We met one day while eating lunch. I was eating with a close friend when he noticed me from across the room. He watched and worked up the courage to introduce himself to me. When he finally felt ready, he wrote his name and phone number on a little piece of paper and walked over. From there, he told me that I was gorgeous and gave me his number. All embarrassed, I was nervous to contact him but decided to anyway, many hours later. And the rest is history!

He took me to Kohler-Andrea State Park on Lake Michigan, a place we talked about visiting many times but never got the chance to see. There, he set up a nice little picnic on the beach for the two of us and had some friends waiting with a camera to get pictures of the whole event. At this beach, some of the sand is magnetic so he brought magnets and we played in the sand for a bit. While playing, I found a box hidden in the sand and he got on one knee!
