Groom
I am a God fearing man who likes to have a lot of fun. I like to instigate and get into mischief but I am also very caring and love to get to know people and hang out above anything else. I love to be creative and get out and do things. I also shockingly have a more professional side as a special education and ELA teacher. I’m looking forward to this next step in life of becoming a husband to Analysa and eventually a dad. I’m excited to embark on this next season of life and to see what all God has in store for me. I couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone else than her.
Bride
I am a child of God, cat loving, creative person with a big sense of adventure that still enjoys a good day indoors. You’ll usually find me reading a good book (inside or out in a park) or in the kitchen trying a new recipe. I’m very excited for this next step in my life of choosing Noah Sturtz as my forever love. This is one of the biggest decisions I could make, and yet, still one of the easiest.
Best Man
Noah’s party: Caleb is my older brother of 4 years. I was his little side kick over the years and looked up to him in a lot of ways. I imitated him and always wanted to be like him which is in large part why I am who I am today. Some of my favorite memories with him include video games, all things creative and just goofiness/laughing. Luv you Cabub :)
Maid of Honor
Ana’s party: Ayla is my older sister of 5 years and she never lets me forget it. We grew up enjoying many of the same hobbies and she inspired me in the numerous activities I still hold dear today; including art, acting, soccer and so many other activities. One of my favorite memories growing up with her was driving with the music too loud and reading love stories together.
Best Man
Noah’s party: Stevin is my older brother of 8 years. Every day of my life he has been by my side to lift me up and to help guide me through the hard things (like taxes😬). He’s been an amazing role model and I’m so glad I can look up to him. He has done a fabulous job fulfilling his role as the oldest… and I have enjoyed fulfilling my role as the youngest, by pushing his buttons, growing up. Some of my favorite shows and movies are because of him (Jurassic park and psych). I love you Stevy wevy.
Maid of Honor
Ana’s party: Alycia is my older sister of a year and a half and I don’t think she liked how small that gap was. 😂 Growing up we were gifted the chance to share a lot of things: a room, toys, clothes, and her least favorite was sharing friends but we were able to be really close because of it and I am grateful. My favorite memory growing up would be playing Bratz and Barbies together and coming up with ridiculous stories.
Groomsman
Noah’s party: Abhishek is Indian, lol. Abhi has been with me through some of the best, and worst times in my life. He is my best friend. A friend who has become family and has blossomed into such an amazing adult. He has pushed me in my faith relentlessly, and I have pushed him out of his comfort zone, constantly lol. We have way too many amazing stories, inside jokes and shared core memories! Having him stand beside me on my wedding day means everything! Love you Abhishek Ryaaaaaaaaaaaan!
Bridesmaid
Ana’s party: I met Olivia on a double date with her, now, husband and my almost husband. We hit it off right away and proceeded to go thrifting and eat Chick-fil-A for a girls night. We have bonded with the act of dual wedding planning and understanding the joys and the struggles that come with it. My favorite memory with her is watching Barbie movies and snacking on some yummy food, reminiscing on our childhood and talking about our men like we were middle schoolers crushing hard.
Groomsman
Noah’s party: Michael (Mikey) is an amazing human being that I have had the honor of encountering in my life. He’s Jewish by blood, sure… but more importantly, he’s a Christian, a child of God, by faith. Mikey and I have had late night longboard rides, good gospel conversations and too many hysterical laughing fits to count! Thank you for being you, Mikey :)
Bridesmaid
Ana’s party: McKenna and I became friends in middle school and our friendship blossomed into best friendship when we went to the same college. Since then we have been inseparable still calling each other despite our distance in living, we are always there for each other. I enjoy when we meet up for coffee or go to parks and act like fools. One of my most favorite memories with her was going in a corn maze during college and acting like children again playing Marco Polo and pretending we were Dora the explorer trying to get out but without a map.
Father of the Groom
Noah’s party: My dad has been an amazing role model that is always encouraging me, supporting me and believing in me. He has been an awesome spiritual leader and has helped me grow in my faith with God. He always has high expectations for me (even believing I can/could wake up before noon on the weekends and summer! lol) I truly am proud to carry forth the example my dad has set in my life. I love you dad ❤️
Mother of the Groom
Noah’s party: I have the most wonderful mom. My mom has always been loving and supportive towards me and my life. She cares deeply about me and is always there to cheer me on. We have many great memories from riding in Ragbrai to all the fun trips taken to Florida, Texas and more! Her love has shaped the way I look at the world and how I understand relationships and commitment. Thank you mom, I love you ❤️
Father of the Bride
Ana’s party: This is my dad. He has been the role of father, guide, leader, care giver, coach, and my first date (father daughter dates and father daughter dances). I have so many memories I couldn’t name them all but I enjoyed when he would teach me how to dance and when he was my coach for every sport I wanted to try. One of my biggest memories was when I would wait by the door on cold winter days for dad to come home and I would have ready for him hot coco or hot apple cider.
Mother of the Bride
Ana’s party: This is my mom. She has been the role of mother, guidance, advice giver, cuddler, impromptu date, and first best friend. My mom was always there for me growing up, the perks of being a stay at home working mom, and she would always listen when I wanted to talk. I have such great memories with her which includes shopping and stopping for coffee or McDonalds and deep conversations about how to get through life. I have a vivid memory of going on long walks, enjoying the summer sun, and talking for at least an hour before going to dad’s softball games.
Flower Guy
Ana’s party: Jacob is my younger brother of 5 years but by his height you’d think the opposite. He and I would go for drives and play games and talk about God together. He and Noah instantly became like brothers when they first met and so anytime I spend with Jacob now is full of jokes and goofiness and it’s usually with Noah matching the goofiness. When I asked Jacob to be our flower guy he said that he wants to tell everyone that he is a “Manly Man” and everyone needs to know that he is a flower GUY and not a flower GIRL. So here you go Jacob :p
Ring Security
Noah: Piper is my baby niece. You’ll see that she is very smart and bubbly and will always find a way to make you smile. She was my first niece and my introduction to being an uncle! Ana: I met Piper at her first birthday party and we have had lovely days together as I’ve babysat her. I love it when she runs over to me asking for hugs. She is a sweetie pie and I’m happy for her to carry our rings down the aisle.
Ring Security
Noah: Ellie is my baby niece and I am her Uncle NoNo. She has the cutest giggles and the biggest personality so she makes such great impressions. I love being the cool uncle for her and the others! 😎 Ana: I met Ellie at Pipers birthday party and though it took some time for her to feel comfortable with me we have a blast when I do tea parties with her when babysitting. She’s a blessing and I’m glad to see her carrying our rings on our special day.
Back-up Security
Noah: Ruby is my little baby niece and is so tiny and cute. She just started smiling and now I try my hardest to get her flashing her gums like they’re teeth and try even harder to get her to laugh. She doesn’t do a whole lot yet, but she’s very cute just chilling! Ana: I met Ruby before she ever met me as I felt for her kicks when she was in Peyton’s belly and now I get to watch every little thing she learns as she grows. I enjoy seeing her smile and giggle when I talk to her.
Back-up Security
Noah: Luke is currently my only baby nephew. He’s my little man that I’m trying to teach to run so we can start chasing each other, one step closer to wrestling. I can’t wait to teach him and my nieces all the shenanigans and silly jokes I know! Ana: I have been having a blast seeing Luke grow and gain the skills he’s accomplished so far and I can’t wait to see more and more of who he’s becoming. In the meantime I get to enjoy seeing his face light up and waving when I come over and say “hi.”
Security for the Security
Noah’s party: I met Peyton many moons ago and am so thankful for her making Stevin so happy! I enjoy talking about all things special education and teaching with her as we are both getting pulled through the wringer with our students! She is goofy and supportive and pretty chill! Thanks for joining our family Peyton, and adding a unique personality to the mix :)
Security for the Security
Noah’s party: I met Lydia many many moons ago and I’m grateful for her making Caleb whole! She puts up with my shenanigans (sometimes) and gives back the heat other times. Lydia, thank you for being a wonderful mom, and for bringing more joy to the Sturtz family!
Usher
Ana’s party: Jeffrey aka Evontis is my younger brother of 2 years. He and I have had our fun with video games and drives blasting the radio. We often spend our time talking about our mutual love of music, though mine is more vocal and his in instrumental, we still get into extensive talks about our favorite songs and why.
