Alex and Noah met at some point (neither can remember exactly when) in their freshman year at the University of Dallas. They were friends throughout college, but never dated. Alex had a crush on him for a couple years at UD, but Noah didn’t have a clue. They didn't see each other again until their mutual friends' wedding in Louisiana. As they were catching up by the dance floor, Noah tried to impress Alex with his bad Spanish and worse dance moves. And it worked! They spent the rest of the night dancing and laughing and having a great time, and made plans to see each other again in a few weeks in Dallas. They went on a date to the Dallas Museum of Art, and what was originally thought to be a casual day-date became a nine hour date complete with two meals, margaritas, and snow cones. After that, it was clear that they needed to see each other again and Alex made plans to go down to Austin to see him again. In Austin, Alex and Noah spent Saturday night at a dance hall, Noah's feet being bruised by some new boots he bought that day. The next morning they met up for brunch where he asked her to be his girlfriend, and of course she said yes! Noah knew that he couldn't be down in Austin with Alex living in DFW, so he quit his job and moved back to Dallas to be with her. After that, things moved pretty quickly to "I love you" and "what if we got married?", which of course was a great idea! Noah picked out a ring he was sure Alex would love, and asked her to marry him on a beautiful day at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. Alex was so excited and happy, she said yes through her giggle-crying! Since then, they've been happily planning their wedding, and are so excited to see you all there!
