We were first introduced by a mutual friend at a party when Noah moved to the DC area. Playing volleyball and soccer together with friends over the next few years helped us form a casual friendship until Noah invited Abby to his birthday party. She decided to bring him a chocolate bar that night which caught his attention and led to a phone call and date the next week. Dating during early months of the pandemic provided unique opportunities to spend time together as Noah started working remotely and Abby’s medical school class graduated early. We fell in love hiking and camping over long weekends, recording TikTok videos, and watching Tiger King. When the world started to open up, we still found ourselves wanting to spend as much time together as possible and over the last few years have continued to grow in love and fondness for each other.
