Our Story

We first met at a friend's quinceanera in Rumney when we were 16, but didn't cross paths again for another 2 years. I (Rachel) had started hanging out with his siblings and eventually mentioned that he could visit too. We ended up talking all night over a campfire (our famous "Fire Time") and I felt a deep connection intellectually and spiritually. That was good enough for a sweet friendship, and that's what we had until he asked me out 6 months later. Next thing I knew, he moved in next door and waited three years for me as I finished college in Wisconsin. He then proposed on May 11, 2019 at Rimrock on Mt. Cardigan. 💜

Our Special Day

#nationalhappinesshappensday

August 8th (other than being a cool date) is National Happiness Happens Day. Check out these links to read more if you like unofficial national holidays too! It's also National Cat Day, but we don't like cats so I kept looking until I found something good- haha! Updates

Please check this website (especially the Schedule and FAQ's pages) as our date gets closer. We will try to keep adding more info (hopefully just adding, not changing) so everyone's questions are answered. Thank you! Update on 7/16: where to park can be found on the Schedule and FAQs pages. Update on 7/28: please bring an umbrella, it looks like we might have scattered thunderstorms. Update on 8/4: changed the parking again! But even if you don't see it, we'll have someone at the bottom of our driveway to let you know where to go.

For all the days along the way
