Our Story

Wherever I am, I am for you.

We attended the same high school in Springfield, Missouri, but never crossed paths. One summer, we struck up a conversation over social media about flying. Noah asked if I would want to go flying and for some reason I had no problem flying with a complete stranger! After a few dates on the ground, things were going really well. There was just one problem -- Noah was shipping out to a three-month training stint with the Army that summer. Over 10 weeks, and with about 70 letters back and forth, I eventually found myself flying across the country with his family to Fort Jackson, South Carolina for his graduation. We must have really liked each other, because from there we faced 4 months of additional distance while I was attending the University of Arkansas, and Noah was training to be a Blackhawk mechanic in Virginia. Finally that January, we were reunited. I would continue school and Noah was flight instructing at the SGF Airport. Usually once a week one of us would visit the other for a date or a meal. We continued to grow as best friends and looked forward to the end of my degree program when we could finally be in the same place. Noah got hired at an airline and started to work out of Columbus, Ohio. He stayed living in Springfield and we were able to continue the relationship being only a few hours apart. I would visit my parents often, and when I couldn't be home doing that, Noah was able to come visit me in Arkansas. He even got the occasional flight into XNA where I could see him briefly. After a long relationship of short visits, phone calls, FaceTiming, and texts, we were able to be together "for good" in March 2020, when I was forced to be back home in Springfield due to COVID-19. I graduated virtually, and soon after we both moved to Columbus, Ohio. I started a dream job in the Nationwide Children's Hospital NICU, and Noah continued working for the airline and also the Coast Guard. Needless to say, wherever we are, we are for each other.
