We met when Nick was working at Coldstone Creamery. Katie came in with her mom, Leslie. Nick made conversation with Katie's mom and then learned that Nick went to the same high school as her. Katie decided to learn more about him by finding him on Facebook. After the first "hey" message Katie sent, it was happily ever after.

We were back in Tucson to visit our families for Christmas. Nick had been planning everything for months. Nick decided to bring us back to where we first met. He set up the same Coldstone location with beautiful lights and flowers while he dressed up as a Coldstone worker. Katie thought she was just going in to pick out a cake, but to her surprise, Nick showed up behind her to ask a very important question, "Will you marry me?". It was a special moment shared between Katie, Nick, and their close family that was present.
