Katie and I met when we were going to school in Mankato. We were both in the education program. 3 years of being in the same program, we were only acquaintances. Then in our final year of school, we started going to coffee shops regularly to work on final projects with a friend. Eventually, these coffee dates of us 3 turned into Katie and I alone. Overtime, we started meeting alone for these coffee dates on Saturday nights. It soon became clear we were no longer meeting to get our homework done, but to spend time together. What started as a strong friendship, led to finding my forever best friend and wife.
