Paul and Nkem's paths crossed in June 2019 during Nkem's visit to Lagos, Nigeria. Nkem had been entrusted by her sister to deliver some items to Paul. Interestingly, Paul and Nkem had already been acquainted since high school through Nkem's sister. Upon their reunion, they spent quality time engaging in conversations about various topics and thoroughly enjoyed each other's company. Several days later, Paul reached out to check on Nkem and, as appreciation for her help, offered to take her out. Nkem gladly accepted the invitation. Following their first dinner together, they decided to meet up again before Nkem's departure to the United States. Surprisingly, they ended up spending practically every day together until she had to return. Despite the vast distance between them, they quickly realized that they had a genuine chance at love. The rest, as they say, is history.
