Once upon a time, during a chorus trip to Fresno, two unsuspecting fools found themselves texting each other from opposite sides of a “party van.” About a week later, we embarked on our first date and clarified that we were not seeking anything serious at the moment. However, things took an unexpected turn and became far too serious for the “casual” fun we had discussed. Feeling overwhelmed, we decided to take a three-month break and tried to convince ourselves that it was for the best. During this time, we wrote breakup songs, adopted dogs to fill the void, and pretended that everything was going well, even though we were both miserable. This experience taught us a valuable lesson: we were not fooling anyone, not even ourselves. We had stumbled upon something truly rare and extraordinary. We decided to give our relationship another chance and continued to have fun together. Slowly but surely, we transformed into a close-knit family. Sadie and Braydon witnessed their parents’ love story unfold. Janey became an incredible “Arizona Mom” to their bright and cheerful son. Nathan, on the other hand, became the best dog dad anyone could ever hope for, with countless scritches and play sessions filling their lives. Our journey led us to move into a house on Harmony Avenue (not a joke) and now we are getting to live our happily ever after. We are so excited and honored to have you as a part of our story.
