Question

Where is the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Cedar Springs Pavilion. The Address- 7951 South County Road 25A Tipp City, OH 45371

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Seating begins at 4:30pm. Please be in your seats by 4:50pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm

Question

Can I take photos of the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged ceremony” (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us, is being fully present as we say “I do”. We have hired amazing professionals to capture the moment and trust they will do an incredible job! We will share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, we encourage you to capture any and all moments you’d like!

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

After you take the winding road to the venue, there will be a parking lot beside the venue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with our nearest and dearest, and would like to keep it limited to those on the invitation. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate additional guests, there is a limited capacity at the venue. We can only accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invitation will be addressed as {Your Name} + {Guest} if a plus one has been given to you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, really we do! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an adult’s-only event (the only exception are the little ones in our bridal party/immediate family). We encourage you to use this as a date night on us! We hope this allows you enough time to be able to plan ahead, and we appreciate your understanding.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You will be able to scan the QR code on your invitation with your phone camera or by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. You will not be able to RSVP until formal invitations are sent out.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1, 2025 If we don’t receive your RSVP by May 1st, we will assume you cannot attend and will mark you as a “no”. We need to provide the venue and vendors a final guest count in a timely manner, we hope you understand.

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

We will miss you! Please RSVP “Will NOT attend” so we can adjust accordingly. If you have already RSVP’d attending, but find you cannot make it, please notify the bride and groom ASAP. Josh Nixon: (937)-489-6653 Olivia Gorman: (937)-572-7724

Question

Will the wedding take place outside or inside?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside, weather permitting. The reception will also be outside, however it will be under a covered pavilion with open sides.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The Dayton Air Show will be happening the same weekend as our wedding. The Air Show will take place at the Dayton airport, which happens to be right next to the wedding venue. You may need to plan accordingly for unusually high traffic in that area and unexpected road closures. The Air Show should conclude for the day right before the start of our wedding ceremony. Fingers crossed!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! Semi-formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Bridesmaids will be wearing light blue for those wondering, though completely fine to still wear blue as a guest.

Question

Can I wear white, ivory, or cream colored attire?

Answer

No, let the bride have her day.

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

This question is mostly for the girls wondering about heels! Feel free to wear whatever shoe you want, but if you’re wondering about the terrain- The ceremony has a paved walkway to the seating area, but the actual seating area is in the grass on a slightly sloped hill. Cocktail hour and the reception will also have a paved floor. The venue has a large open grassy area and wildflower fields you are welcome to explore.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you, so get ready to celebrate!

Question

What is on the menu for dinner?

Answer

We are having Mexican themed food! Cocktail hour will have chips and salsa. For dinner, we will have a buffet style taco and fajita bar with toppings. Meat options include, beef, chicken, or steak.

Question

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Unfortunately, our caterer cannot accommodate for this. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have limited hotel blocks at the AC hotel and Fairfield hotel in downtown Dayton. We also found other hotels close by as an option. However, we do not have a hotel block for them. Please see the “Hotel” tab in the menu above for more information

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, transportation will not be provided. Uber and lyft are great options if you need transportation.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Although there is no obligation for a gift, we are registered at Amazon, Crate and Barrel, and Target. We also have a honeymoon and house fund option you can donate to as well if you’d prefer.
