Hello everyone, Eliza here! I am the middle of the Nixon sisters, a lucky place to be. I live in Vermont with my fiancé Evan and our pup Ella. I attended the University of Vermont and graduated in 2020. I now work in Marketing for a ski accessories brand! I am excited to share the joy of celebrating Matt and Allie with you all. They always show up for us, so I can’t wait to show out for them (ie. cry at the ceremony and then dance really really hard).

I’m currently navigating the wonderful and terrifying world of post-grad and am so incredibly grateful to have Allie and Matt encouraging and pushing me to be my best and most authentic self (and often making me dinner). Hi I'm Michaela Benton, Matt's middle sister and I'm super excited to celebrate the loving union of Allie and Matt as one of Allie’s bridesmaids. I'm a graduating senior at Dartmouth college with plans to continue my education by attending a joint law school and PhD program. I'm excited to officially welcome Allie into the Benton family though I feel like I have already gained three sisters in Allie, Eliza and Bella. Congrats Matt and Allie!!

We've become so close over the last two years, it feels like we've been friends for so much longer! On the first night we met, I told Allie I loved her and nothing has changed since. My name is Evan and I'm the best man. Matt and I have been friends since both of our first days at Albany Academy! One of us followed the other to Hobart College (you decide who), and we've been thick as thieves ever since. From the high school days, through our fraternity days, to navigating living in New York City as young professionals, and now embracing this next stage in our lives I have always been able to count on Matt as a true friend. I relocated to Northwest Arkansas for a work opportunity in July, but I always know that Matt is just a phone call away. I'm so incredibly honored to be a part of Matt and Allie's special day because I know that as much as Matt loves me, he loves Allie that much more! Cooper is a very lucky pup to have you both as such loving doggy parents.

My name is Joshua Michael Benton, the cousin, and technically, the half-brother of the groom (my dad and Matt’s dad are identical twins!). I am the husband of Cara Benton and the father of Caleb Daniel Benton. I currently work in the plumbing industry in the Capitol Region of New York. My cousin Matt is the man I aspire to be and I believe that Allie is the perfect match for my cousin-brother! We love you guys so very much, and can't wait to celebrate!

My name is Alex, and Matt and I were freshman-year roommates. We later joined the same fraternity at Hobart. I am currently living in Boston with my fiancé, Shelby, and our dog Tater Tot. I work as an account manager for Enterprise Fleet Management. As I first met Matt about 10 years ago, I am excited to return to Geneva to see and support him and Allie take the next step.

My name is Mac Benson & I went to HWS where met both Matt & Allie. Matt and I were in the same fraternity, and I met Allie freshman year when she played on the women’s rugby team & I played on the men’s. I live in Stamford, about 2 blocks from where Matt & Allie lived before they bought their house. I work for ESPN as an associate producer and am often on the road for work, but when I’m not, I love spending time with Matt & Allie. They’ve welcomed me in and been a great pillar of support for me. Couldn’t be more excited to help them celebrate in June!

My name is Max Jones and I am a proud Hobart College alum along with Matt. We met as pledge class brothers for our fraternity. I am an environmental attorney in Portland, Oregon and live with my girlfriend Eliza. When I am not busy being a cog for the corporate machine, I am often ignoring other responsibilities by swinging a fly for non-existent steelhead. Matt and I have shared many great moments through our common love of the outdoors. Be it in the mountains of Colorado, the dreary Eastern European flavor of Western New York, or on the coast; fly fishing has brought us and our friends together in many ways. We may not always be successful in our pursuit, but perhaps that was never truly the point. I look forward to sharing another adventure with Matt. Supporting him and Allie as they take their next step together is an honor.
