Please plan to arrive by 11:30AM. Use GATE 1 for entering Samode Bagh. If possible, we recommend you arrive dressed in your clothes for the Haldi function (details below or next page). While some rooms may be ready upon arrival, check-in time is not until 2PM. Your luggage will be taken care of by the staff while you enjoy lunch.

This will be the same outfit as the Haldi event and happen concurrently.
Enjoy hot masala chai and snacks in the beautiful Mughal gardens at Samode! Experience Rajasthani culture and artistry - with mehendi artists, bangle makers, block printing, puppet show, camel rides and folk dance! There will be a Rajasthani folk dance performance at 1PM.
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
South Asian clothes (e.g., lahenga, kurta) in bright colors (e.g., orange, yellow, and pink)
The Haldi ceremony is a joyful pre-wedding ritual in Indian cuture, where family and friends apply turmeric paste to the bride and groom to purify, protect and bless them before their wedding.
6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Indian attire in jewel tones for a fun evening of Bollywood dances and music performances by family and friends in honor of the bride and groom.
Enjoy appetizers, dinner and some dance performances/speeches! Afterwards, around 9PM everyone can join in "Garba" - a fun lively dance with dandiyas (sticks).
7:00 am - 9:15 am
Enjoy a buffet breakfast starting early in preparation of the baraat and wedding ceremonies to follow. It is recommended that you dress up for the day's events before coming for breakfast.
Breakfast will be served at both Samode Palace and Samode Bagh in the respective restaurants before the start of Baraat at Samode Palace. Shuttle service will be available for guests to transfer between Samode Bagh and Palace. It is a ten minute drive through Samode village.
9:30 am - 10:45 am
Please wear Indian formal (sarees, lahengas, shervani, Nehru jackets, etc) in lighter shades (no red).
9.30am - Family and friends assemble at Samode Palace River Bank. Then they escort the groom in a procession to the wedding ceremony! This event is filled with a lot of music, dance, and high energy.
11:00 am - 11:30 am
Guests can continue with the same attire worn to the Baraat
Watch the bride enter and then the bride and groom exchange garlands to mark the start of the wedding ceremony.
11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Guests can continue with the same attire worn to the Baraat.
Please join to observe the marriage ceremony and religious rituals.
1:00 pm - 1:15 pm
The couple seek blessings from God, their parents, priest and loved ones, as they start a new life together.
1:15 pm - 3:00 pm
Guests can continue with the same attire worn to the wedding ceremony
Please join for lunch at Samode Palace! Starting at 1:45, the bride and groom will be in front of the palace for different group photos. We will let each group know the timings for their photos!
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
We recommend wearing the same outfits that you will wear for the reception (see below or next page).
This will be a relaxing event to join the newly weds for cocktails and light appetizers before the reception!
7:30 pm - 11:45 pm
Attire - Formal Indian (saris, lahengas, nehru jacket) or Western (suits and long gowns). Outfits with bling and sparkle welcome!
Enjoy dinner and some speeches and performances from family and friends. Afterwards, join us to party on the dance floor! Also, send us any song recommendations!
7:00 am - 10:30 am
Attire - Casual. Enjoy farewell breakfast at both venues before check-out and saying good bye (Au Jo!)
