Please plan to arrive by 11:30AM and enjoy lunch! If possible, we recommend you arrive dressed in your clothes for the Haldi function (details below or next page). While some rooms may be ready upon arrival, check-in time is not until 2PM. There are also locations within the hotels to change into your event clothes if needed!

During this event, family and friends apply turmeric powder to the bride and groom!
3:30 pm - 7:00 pm
You may wear the same outfits that you wore to the Haldi event
Come join for chai and snacks in the beautiful garden at Samode Bagh! There will also be stalls at which you can grab wedding accessories (e.g., purses, bangles, and earrings), enjoy local artists performing, and get your henna done.
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
South Asian clothes (e.g., lahenga, kurtas, saris) in darker shades for this nighttime event
Grab some dinner and then take your seat to enjoy a few performances! Afterwards, everyone can join in "Garba", a dance from Gujarat in which everyone moves around in a circle and claps their hands or does other movements together.
8:00 am - 9:30 am
Breakfast will be served at both Samode Palace and Samode Bagh before the start of the wedding festivities.
10:00 am - 11:30 am
South Asian clothes in lighter/pastel shades for this daytime event
Family and friends escort the groom in a procession to the wedding ceremony! This event is filled with a lot of music, dance, and high energy. Then the bride and groom exchange garlands to mark the start of the wedding ceremony.
11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Guests can continue with the same attire worn to the Baraat
Please join to observe the marriage ceremony!

This will be a relaxing event to join the newly weds for cocktails and/or chai before the reception!
