Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Bali is served by only one major airport: I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), also known as Denpasar International Airport, which is around 29 miles away from the city center.

Question

What do I need to do to enter Bali as an American or Canadian?

Answer

For our guests who hold an American or Canadian passport, you will need to apply for a VOA (Visa on Arrival) which costs around $30 USD/$42 CAD. The visa type will be B1, which will allow you to stay for 30 days in Indonesia to "perform activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family". You will need to present a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival and an outbound ticket to the immigration officer. You can find more details regarding this visa at https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/ You will also need to fill out an Arrival Card, which you can do before you land in Indonesia at https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/

Question

Where will I be staying?

Answer

For our guests coming from North America, we will be providing accommodations for our invited guests from September 23rd to 26th. A few months before the wedding date, the details of the accommodations will be emailed to the guests who have RSVP'd.

Question

How do I get around?

Answer

If you would like to use a ride sharing app, we recommend downloading apps like Grab or Gojek to book rides and see upfront prices, which helps avoid price haggling. If you would like to use a taxi, we recommend Bluebird taxi as Bluebird is a highly reputable company and you can easily identify them by their blue color.

Question

What essentials should I pack?

Answer

We recommend packing for a tropical vacation which includes breezy clothing, bathing suit, sun and bug protection, casual cocktail outfit for the rehearsal dinner, formal outfit for the wedding day, and your usual travel essentials!

Question

What colors should I wear for the wedding day?

Answer

Gentlemen may wear suits of any color or style, as long as they are formal. Ladies are encouraged to wear colorful and radiant formal dresses. We kindly ask our female guests to refrain from wearing white, cream, ivory or dresses with white patterns in honor of the bride.
