Start time - around 8 a.m. Main event - between 9 and 930 am End time - around 10:30 a.m. Lunch - 11:30 a.m. 1. Times are approximate as a result of the couple's horoscopes and the priest's determination of the most auspicious time to conduct the marriage. The time/day calculation is derived from Hindu Vedic Astrology and is of utmost importance in order to avoid the presence of evil eye at the wedding. 2. Brochures will be provided to all guests to help provide a quick summary of what occurs on the 21st. An MC will also be on stage to discuss the significance of the various steps indicated on the brochure. 3. Sitting Etiquette at an Indian Wedding: Folks are not usually on time, so don't feel pressured to be at the Temple at 8 a.m. Once you arrive at the temple, you are free to walk in and out of the venue, talk to your family and friends, and move around. There is no requirement to continuously sit in your chair to watch the ceremony.

For the reception, wear bright colors/summer wedding outfits like sundresses/jumpsuits. Indian outfits are 100% also acceptable because we will be wearing them too! May 21, 2022: Try to stay conservative (I.e. no extreme low cut blouses or short skirts. But sleeveless lehengas/dresses are absolutely welcomed).
