The first time we met was 13 days after we had spoken to each other. I remember rushing that day (as always) to make the 4pm train to downtown. 🏃💨 She was the first to arrive at the Coffee shop next to the office. As usual, I had forgotten something to do which got me late on our first date by 10mins 😅 (Others would nod and say to themselves, Of course Gerard was late 🤣) We spoke for hours, had a lovely chat and walked in the pouring rain towards Union Station. We connected over more deeper thoughts in Toronto's lovely Subway ride up North. Little did she know that a few days later, I'd drop by to surprise again after work with her favorite chocolate (that she helped pick 😜) For her, that was when she began to develop feelings for me. For me, it was the romantic walk we had back in the snow again 💙❄️ And here we are, few months down the line planning our I Do's 🥰💍

Who made the first move? How? > Gerard made the first move, when he showed up to surprise Hiranya right after work on a Thursday! What's your favorite activity together? > We love to play foosball and go for long Trail walks together ! Where are you going for your honeymoon? > Chiang Mai. But Japan is on the list and we're open to suggestions! What's the best meal you have eaten together? > We had Fried Chicken Waffles one morning at a diner. It was surprisingly delicious and a great combination if done right! What's the most memorable trip you have taken together? > Last July! We went on a road trip to Prince Edward County. It was one of the most memorable birthdays that I've planned out, we had loads of fun! We’re on the same page about > What's important to us. And that's spending time with the people we love most.
