We’re getting married!

Jordan and I met at a New Years Eve party going into 2019. We had a brief encounter... and well lets say Jordan's first impression was as memorable as it was irksome. We were playing a group party game which allows you to bluff. We ended up in the same room on different teams, but I was trying to convince everyone in the room I was something I wasn't. Unfortunately Jordan saw my card and said, “Yeah, I saw her card, that’s not what she is”. Needless to say the game was effectively ruined for me and I never forgot it when I would see him at church after that. Fast forward 8-9 months and we’re at family camp with our church. I ended up by the firepit by myself. Jordan comes by and sits down next to me. We started talking and found we had a lot in common. It all started there. We started seeing each other as friends, spending hours at the dog park just talking and getting to know each other. We knew very quickly what we had was something neither of us had experienced before. It didn't take long for us to express our love for each other, and shortly thereafter, talk about marriage. Jordan proposed to me in the same room at the house we played that game in on New Years Eve. He decorated it with beautiful lights and when he got down on one knee he said, “Being here in this room brings us full circle. I know your previous memory of this room was not the greatest. I wanted to be in this same place to replace the old one and to remember when I gave you this circle”. We are beyond excited to have you join us on this special day and feel honored you have taken time out of your lives to celebrate with us.
