FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP via the website as soon as possible, and no later than April 30, 2026. While we will send out reminders, unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate late RSVP's, as we will need to provide our vendors and venue with an exact guest count by a certain date.

Question

Are young children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you can enjoy a relaxing, kid-free weekend with us on the Amalfi Coast.

Question

What documents do I need to travel from the United States to Italy?

Answer

1. Valid Passport: - Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure date from Italy. - It should have been issued within the last ten years. 2. Flight Tickets: - Please ensure you have round-trip or onward travel tickets. 3. Travel Itinerary: - Keep a copy of your travel itinerary or proof of accommodation (like hotel bookings) handy. 4. Travel Insurance (Highly Recommended): - We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers health, accidents, and repatriation.

Question

Should we book our own car rental?

Answer

While it may be tempting to rent a car, we don’t recommend it. Rental cars are available, but please ensure your hotel or rental offers parking, as many accommodations in Ravello have limited or paid parking options. Ravello itself is quite small, and a car isn’t necessary to get around—the town square is even closed to vehicles! Additionally, the roads along the Amalfi Coast are extremely narrow and winding, which can be challenging to navigate unless you’re an expert driver. We highly recommend using public transportation/private car transfer for your travels in the area. For those looking for an alternative, we've listed a scooter rental company recommended by our planner on the travel page of our website. Many tourists take public transportation to Ravello and rent a Vespa scooter to explore the coast during their stay.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

October in Ravello typically offers beautiful weather, with mild temperatures during the day and cooler evenings. Daytime highs usually range from the mid to high 60s°F (18°C to 20°C), while nighttime temperatures can dip into the low 60s and high 50s°F (10°C to 16°C). We highly recommend that women pack a shawl and a jacket, and men bring a jacket for the evenings. A light rain jacket is also a good idea, as occasional showers are possible during this time of year.

Question

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

We’ll be serving a set meal for our wedding, so if you have any specific allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know as soon as possible so we can accommodate your needs.

Question

Where else do you recommend we stay if we don't want to stay in Ravello?

Answer

Ravello sits up on top of the mountains, requiring a drive (or a hike) to the beach, therefor some of our guests may prefer to stay closer to the beach. The town of Amalfi is an oceanfront town that is about a 15 minute drive to Ravello. There are a few other smaller towns such as Atrani, Minori and Maiori that are also oceanfront, but not as popular as Amalfi. All are a short drive to Ravello.

Question

Is there transportation to/from the venue?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation as the hotels on our travel tab are all conveniently a 5-15 minute walk from Villa Eva. There are numerous signs directing you towards the Villa from town centre, and it is easily visible as the highest point in town (and along the Amalfi Coast!). We recommend you confirm your walking directions ahead of the wedding day for those staying close to the venue. If you choose to stay outside of Ravello, cabs and public transport can involve wait times. Please ensure you have arranged your ride to/from the venue ahead of time to not risk missing the ceremony.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

While our ceremony will begin "unplugged," our officiant will let you know when everyone can begin taking photos and videos following the vows!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes, both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Villa Eva in Ravello.
