We're getting married!

We met at work! Jae decided to expand his nursing career, knowledge, and wallet and travel to ABQ, NM. Initially we were friends at work and had fun in group activities outside of work. One day, we had a more intimate group setting of just 5 people. We did an escape room, visited a friend in the mountains and ended the day at an arcade. The next morning Jae texted Nissa to see if she was available to get together just the two of them. After a few dates in ABQ, a few months of long distance dating and a nursing contract completed together in Oregon, the rest is history!

The proposal is much less romantic and more realistic. We had been talking about getting married for a couple months- had discussed with parents. Nissa picked her own ring! So she knew it was coming. One morning, Jae rolled over in bed and asked Nissa to marry him. She said, "yes, of course!" and followed up with "is this a joke?" To which Jae pulled the ring out of a dresser drawer where he'd been hiding it and presented it to Nissa :)
