Rosarito

Just thirty more minutes south of Tijuana, you can visit this relaxed Mexican beach town. Head to Porto Nuevo and have the tastiest and cheapest lobster lunch or dinner you've ever had. Street shopping is the thing to do and every shop has their own homemade tequila or mezcal. What is recommended is to Uber to the border, walk across and than pay with US dollars a flat rate to a Mexican taxi to Rosarito. Passport or passport cards are required. Air BNB's are very easy to find and very inexpensive too.

Ensenada

Another 30 minutes south of Rosarito is this quiet and relaxed beach town in Baja California, Mexico. A favorite vacation destination for local San Diegans, this town is truly living the Mexican Beach Life. Have the best food and drink for almost nothing. Passport or passport card is required.

The hip or hipster part of town. North Park is where the young professionals in San Diego live, shop, dine and frequent bars, clubs and concerts. For all our young guests, this is your part of San Diego to visit!
