Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 10th, 2027. Late RSVPs will not be accepted.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Sorry, this event is child-free.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to budget/venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate guests not listed on your invitation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The vibe is garden party/garden chic - think florals, bright colors, and fun textures. Our ceremony and reception venues are outdoors, so we recommend flats, wedges, or low heels. Please come dressed appropriately for a wedding - no jeans or sneakers. The wedding party will be wearing green and tan. Please do not wear white, cream, or champagne. Floral printed clothing with white are welcome. Ultimately, if you're questioning it, don't wear it. See my Pinterest board for inspiration! https://pin.it/57Xa5ffd0

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

On Zola! Find the link under the registry tab.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 1pm. Please arrive at the garden at least 15 minutes before to ensure ample time to find your seat. Please note that light snacks and beverages will be served starting at 12pm and we encourage you to enjoy the garden before the ceremony begins.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying in downtown Madison - this will be closest the ceremony venue. We have a block of rooms at the Doubletree by Hilton Downtown Madison. Rooms through our block are $185/night and the block will be held until 4/30/2027. You are welcome to stay elsewhere!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available at both the ceremony and reception venue. For the Garden, there are two-hour timed parking stalls (mobile pay “meters” that do not accept coins) on Babcock Drive, as well as a parking ramp (Lot 36) on Observatory Drive. We recommend that you utilize the shuttle provided by the hotel to get to the Garden.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The hotel will provide a shuttle to the ceremony venue. Additionally, there will be a shuttle from the ceremony venue to the reception venue and then back to the hotel. If you are not staying at the Doubletree and plan to use the shuttle to the reception venue, please arrive at the ceremony venue by city bus, walking, or rideshare.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

See the schedule tab.
