Caleb and Nishtha met in fall 2017 towards the end of their time at the University of Texas at Austin, playing pool at the student union. They became great friends and would go on drives and walks around the city, conversing about everything under the sun and feeling like they'd known each other lifetimes. They were very stubborn that they would never date because they did not want to ruin this beautiful friendship they felt so lucky to have found. The two began dating not long after the new year. Nishtha made him promise he'd never ask her to marry him. He asked her to marry him fall 2018. It's the only pinky swear he's ever broken and she's so glad he did. He asked for her parents blessing in spring 2019 and they were engaged that fall in front of both families. After 4 years of ever growing friendship and love, and countless walks, they are so excited to dance into this next chapter of their lives with y'all!

When Caleb's college co-op, Arrakis, threw a college prom and they danced to one of Nishtha's oldest favorite songs - Beautiful Soul by Jess McCartney. That'll definitely be on the reception playlist!

After a summer apart in 2018, they were thrilled to be reunited and have a weekend in Galveston, TX with one of their best friends, Ahmed, who had just started med school.

Both of their first time experiencing true fall colors in November 2018 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They fell in love with the season here and are so excited for a fall wedding!

Caleb's 23rd birthday. The day started with skydiving, then rollerskating, and finally a porch party with friends that night. Don't be surprised if you see bubbles at the wedding party too!

The first Aries bday party! Many members of Caleb's family, including his mom, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, niece, and Nishtha are Aries. Hopefully joint Aries parties are a new family tradition!

When Caleb threw Nishtha's 23rd bday. Friends gathered at Zilker park. There was cake, hula-hoops, and a piñata that contained letters to Nishtha that Caleb gathered from loved ones. Tears were shed.

Summer of 2019, Nishtha and Caleb went on their biggest trip till date. A road trip starting in CA, going thru UT and CO, before coming back to TX, all in this van outfitted by Caleb's brother, Ben.
