It all began on December 24th, 2023 :) Delano had gone to his mom's house to say hello and check in on her as she was busy watching the play-back of Bethel Way's Sunday morning service. As Delano was about to leave out of the door, Nisha came unto the screen as the Youth Worship Leader that morning. He heard her voice, stopped & turned around to look at the screen & smiled. From that moment he began searching for her but never knew her name. On April 7th, 2024, Facebook did what it always does... suggests a new friend. On that day, Nisha popped up as a suggested friend on Delano's page and when he saw her, he said "that's her" almost as if God had placed her there at the perfect moment. On April 8th he sent her a message introducing himself and starting a polite conversation. He expressed his interest and from there they began conversing and went on their first date later in the year. As they got to know each other they realized how much they had in common. They had been traveling around in the same circles their entire lives but God hadn't seen fit to allow them to meet yet. After they began dating, they knew this was very different than anything they had ever experienced in the past. They became inseparable; from their first date, to their first trip out of the country & then their first photoshoot, they knew that life wouldn't be the same if they didn't have each other. They’re the very best of friends, confidants, and God's created gifts for each other. On October 11th, 2025, Delano asked Nisha to marry him with their close friends & family present and the rest is history.
