Can I change for the reception?

Unfortunately, there will be no changing rooms for guests. We do not recommend changing in between given our space is limited to the event only and our schedule is back-to-back.

Do I have to stay in your hotel of choice?
Answer
You are free to stay wherever you'd like. However, there will be no shuttles to the venue if you choose to stay at a different hotel than what is blocked for our party.

What should I wear?
Answer
Formal attire(not black tie formal). This can be Western, Indian, or Indo-Western. Gentlemen: Western(Suit or shirt/tie/slacks) or Indian(Sherwani, Nehru Jacket with suit pants) Ladies: Western(Dress, Gowns) or Indian(Gown, Lengha, Sari, Anarkali) Indian weddings are colorful! So while dressing formal, please feel free to also incorporate any color or dash of "you" that you'd like!

What kind of shoes do I wear?

WHATEVER YOU CAN DANCE IN! NOTE: The baraat will be on a cobblestone path. Please be careful if you are wearing heels. Gentlemen: dressy loafers and dressy sneakers both go well with Indian and Western attire! Ladies: dressy flats, sandals, and heels all go well with Indian and Western attire! If you're a size 6...feel free to peruse Nisha's closet!

Is there a theme?

Some of you are asking what colors to "avoid" - our answer is the more colors the better. Our reception will have the theme of "Starry Night" - based on our first date(or hangout as Ash says). So come as your glamorous selves to dine and dance under the stars(indoor). Nisha & Ashwath will be color coordinated to this theme.

I need to leave early

No worries, we understand there are lots of priorities! Trolleys to the parking lot will be available throughout the evening. You may leave at any time. Hotel shuttles will begin after dinner.

I need to arrive late
Answer
No worries and we understand there are lots of priorities. If you are driving, please still park at 14 Market Street in Paterson. Trolleys are available throughout the evening. If you are at our hotel, there will be NO shuttle after 3:30 PM to bring you to the venue. Please arrange your own transportation via rental car, Uber, or Lyft.
