Flight
Flights: Flights should be booked to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. All airlines are fine, although WOW airlines is known to lose bags! (You do not need a visa or any documents aside from a passport) It is best to arrive by Sunday afternoon on the 24th. From the airport there are airport taxis that will take you to Tel Aviv. Most drivers speak English but at worst you can show them an address in English and they will drive you. Taxis in Israel are safe and only certified taxies are allowed in the airport. Return flights can be booked anytime on Friday, the 29th (or later if you want to tour in Israel more).
Hotel
Hotel/AirBnB Hotels and airbnbs can be booked in Tel Aviv. We will be staying in Tel Aviv the whole time. The city is small so any location is great but the closer to the beach the better. Most people will stay in central Tel Aviv. Feel free to send over any hotels or AirBnBs and we can help you evaluate.
Rental Car
Transport We have a bus for all travel outside the city including to the wedding so no need to rent a car. Any travel in Tel Aviv can be by walking or taxi. There is no uber in Israel but GetTaxi is a taxi on demand service and can be used in English. You can download GetTaxi from the app store (the icon is a little yellow man raising his hand).
Travel Note
A few important points: The bus and tour guide are something we are covering; you just get yourselves to Israel and book a place to sleep Israel is a super casual country, feel free to wear what makes you happy. We suggest downloaded the app WhatsApp so you can have free international calls and texts (as long as you have wifi) You can change money in Tel Aviv but almost everyone takes credit cards. Bring Sunscreen!!
