Maid of Honor
My sister! I feel so blessed to be able to say that my sister is actually my very best friend. She has been with me to listen and comfort me during my lows, and rejoice and give thanks with me during my highs. She's taught me about makeup and recycling, and never tires of telling me to stop biting my nails. I admire my sister so much. She is an amazing singer, she is intentional and deliberate in everything she does, and she is not only a beautiful woman, but a very holy one as well. She inspires me and encourages me. I wouldn't be the woman I am today without my baby sister. I am so happy she is my maid of honor!
Best Man
Carlos and I practiced discipleship together when I was a missionary at Columbia. He constantly pushes me to be a better man and really helped me navigate the various trials I've faced in life. He is a truly a brother that I can't wait to have stand beside me when I marry Sarah!
Bridesmaid
Mary Kate is my oldest friend, and quite like a sister to me. She knows me and my family almost as well as Becca does. We met at St. Basil Academy when we were 14 and have been best friends ever since. She introduced me to fashion, anime, and story telling, and more importantly has taught me about integrity, honesty, and loyalty. I've always admired this woman! And when I wished I was more like her, she always helped me to value and love myself. We walked through high school and college graduation together. She was with me when I picked out my prom dress and now my wedding dress. I am so blessed to have Mary Kate, my forever friend, standing by my side for another life event.
Groomsman
I met Hang while I was a missionary at Columbia. Although he lives in Cali now, his friendship has always meant so much to me and has shown me God's providence. He's a wild one...watch out for em!
Bridesmaid
I met Tori when I was a first-year missionary at Columbia. During a time in my life when I was most homesick, and didn't believe I could be known and loved by a new community, the Lord proved me wrong with Tori. What started as an invitation to lead Bible studies, turned into an amazing friendship. She helped me to make Columbia my new home. Tori inspires me and pushes me to be a better missionary, Catholic, and woman. She is thoughtful, generous, and deeply cares about the world and others. Our long conversations about politics, virtue, and having a relationship with Christ have forever changed me. The friendship that she and her fiance, Trevor, have given to Niru and me is a gift surly from God. I feel honored to have a couple so dear to us standing by us to pray for us as we say "I do."
Groomsman
Trevor has become one of the most important men in my life. We met my last year at Columbia and his friendship completely sharpens me all the time. He and his fiancee Tori are such a special couple to Sarah and I. Trevor led the worship team that Sarah and I became closer in.
Bridesmaid
Melissa started as my missionary at Temple and became one of my dearest friends! She taught me how to be a bolder missionary and more selfless woman. She's been there to remind me to relax when I'm overwhelmed, give me courage and hope during trials, and share my enthusiasm and joy. She is an incredible wife, mother, and friend, who always makes me laugh, feel known, and desire holiness. She gives the greatest advice and makes the best buffalo chicken dip. God has used her friendship to challenge me and comfort me through college, FOCUS, and now this new adventure of marriage! In college she taught me that my vocation was not merely marriage, but that my vocation was to a person. I am so thankful that now, after years of advice, she'll be at my side as I say "Yes!" to my vocation, Niru.
Groomsman
Michael was my first teammate as a missionary at Columbia. I have never met anyone so fun and joyful. Whenever I think back to people who taught me the most about what it means to be a man and a Catholic, Michael speeds to mind. I am so grateful to have such an important brother beside me!
Bridesmaid
Natasha and I went to Temple together, but it wasn't until she was my teammate at Columbia that we became dear friends. She is the most encouraging, joyful, enthusiastic person I know! She always knows how to make me laugh and never tires of encouraging me to "sparkle Sarah!" Whether we've been in Florida, Philly, NYC, Ireland or France, since placement day 2017, she has been a sister-in-Christ whom I can always count on to give me both practical advice and confidence-boosting support. I'm so honored to have her praying for me and cheering me on during this special day.
Groomsman
Gian has become a great brother to me over the last few years. Meeting through FOCUS at the University of Vermont, we're realized we had a lot in common and connected over our common journey to and in Christ. It has been a huge blessing to grow in faith alongside him and be on mission together. Gian also went to college with Sarah though their friendship truly grew after being missionaries together. Gian has been a sounding board throughout my relationship with Sarah - always pushing me to holiness and sacrifice. It is a great honor to have this man beside me when I finally give my full yes to my bride!
Bridesmaid
Dilini is Niru's sister, and soon to be mine! From the very first Christmas that I came to visit, she has made me feel welcomed and wanted in her family. Whether it's been getting our nails done, seeing a movie, eating fried oreos, or just talking, I have truly enjoyed getting to know this fun woman! She is a strong and resilient woman who built a career for herself, and is a generous and loving mother all at the same time. I am so excited that she will be at my side on this special day, and all the days to come!
Groomsman
Every time I'm in a group with Jack, everyone comes to me and says, "hey, Jack is really cool!" The youngest brother of Sarah, he has always been known to have a good story to share with a kind heart. He has welcomed me into the family and I cant wait to have a brother finally! Jack goes to school at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia studying Music Performance with percussion. Rumor has it he may be gracing us with some of his talent!
